Reward Bar

Reward Bar is a feature in Extra Widget that would help merchants boost sales by encouraging customers to add more items to get a discount.
But before create this Reward Bar, you will need to create a discount. Please click on this guideline to learn how to create a discount from Shopify.

1. Settings


  1. Reward bar goal basis: 
    1. Cart total: Once customer's cart total reaches to the amount which we set up in our app settings, customer will get a discount.
      1. Total amount to reach: Add a certain number of price. Please do not leave this label blank.
    2. Total item quantity: Once total items in customer's cart reaches to a certain number, customer will get a discount.
      1. Total items to reach: Add a certain number of items. Please do not leave this label blank.
  2. Display Text - In Progress: Enter message to encourage customer add more item.
  3. Display Text - Goal Reached: Enter message to congrats or thank customer when they got the discount.
  4. Background Color: Modify color of progress bar.
  5. Foreground Color: Modify color of progress bar.

2. Display settings

2.1. Display Conditions

Add any condition to display the Reward Bar. The Reward Bar will show up if it meets all conditions (all rules pass) or one of the conditions (any rule passes).



2.2. Display sales channel

You can manage to hide the form on Point-of-Sale (POS) system or Online store by choosing those options.


3. Advance Settings



  1. Exclude products from reward calculation: Browse the products that you don't want the bar count in.
  2. Schedule settings: 
    1. Start date: Define when the form should begin displaying.
    2. Set end date: Enable this option to schedule when the form will stop displaying.
    3. Enable repeat: Check this box to repeat the form display on specific days. You can choose the days of the week for recurring schedules.

4. Preview

Before previewing the Reward Bar, you will need to add it to your Checkout page in Checkout editor. Please go to the your theme customization and follow our steps to add Reward Bar.
  1. Step 1: Choose Checkout page > Choose Add app block > Select Extra Widget.

  1. Step 2: Choose Reward Bar in Extra widget type option. 
You can also remove this feature by clicking on the bin icon at the bottom right and change the position of this Reward Bar by holding the item and dragging it to the place you want.



Notes
If you have only one Reward Bar, you don't have to fill the Entry ID. Our app will auto show the Reward Bar once the condition is reached.
In case you have multiple Reward Bars and want to show multiple bars or display each bar in different positions, please kindly type the Bar ID to the Entry ID label. You can find the bar ID at the preview section in Reward Bar settings.
