[Version 2] How to setup an upsell/cross-sell offer?

Step 1: Manage Extensions

Let's start creating a new offer by clicking on the "Create Offer" button on Dashboard. It will automatically redirect you to the "Manage Extensions" tab.  Or you can directly access to "Manage Extensions" tab through the left sidebar. Choose either Product page offer types and Cart page offer types and click the "Manage" button on the selected offer type. 



Step 2: Create Offer

Here you can see the offer list, where you can manage and edit each offer. Click on the "Create offer" button to start making a new offer.


Step 3: Offer Settings

You're now on the "Offer Settings" page. You can set up your offer there.

  1. Offer title and subtitle: 

            You can set the title and subtitle for your offer to encourage customers to purchase additional products or services.



  1. Trigger settings:

      For Bundle Offers:

  1. Original products: You will need to select the product you want to trigger the offer.
    1. All products: All products will trigger the offer popup
    2. Collections: All products in the selected collections will trigger the offer popup
    3. Product Tags: All products has selected product tags will trigger the offer popup
    4. Specific products: Select specific products you want to trigger the offer popup (multiple select)
  2. Original product quantity in bundle: The number of original products included in the bundle.

           

      For other offers:

You will need to select the product you want to trigger the offer.
  1. All products: All products will trigger the offer popup
  2. Collections: All products in the selected collections will trigger the offer popup
  3. Product Tags: All products has selected product tags will trigger the offer popup
  4. Specific products: Select specific products you want to trigger the offer popup (multiple select)



  1. Offer settings: 

      For Cross-sell/ Upsell Offers & Cart Upsell:

            Here you will choose the product you want to make up-sell/cross-sell. You can search the product or browse the products from list. More than one product can be selected.

      For Bundle Offers:

            Here you will choose the product you want to make a bundle. You can search the product or browse the products from list. More than one product can be selected.


  1. Discount settings: 

            You can apply discount for the offer product. There are two types of discount value: Percentage (discount based on percentage) and Fixed amount (discount based on fixed amount). 


    1. Combinations: This offer's discount can be combined with: Product discounts or Shipping discounts.
    1. Max discount uses: The maximum number of times the discount can be used in total

    1. Purchase requirement: Enable this feature if you allow customers to buy any items without discount

      For Volume Offers:

            There are two types of discount value: Percentage (discount based on percentage) and Fixed amount (discount based on fixed amount). 

      1. Tier settings:
        1. Title: You can set the title of the tier there.
        2. Minimum quantity: Minimum number of products customers have to buy to receive the discount.
        3. Discount value: You can set the discount amount here.
        4. Discount badge: The badge of the tier, you can leave it blank to hide the badge.
        5. Background color: Background color of the badge.
        6. Text color: Text color of the badge.


      For Order Goal:

            There are two types of discount value: Percentage (discount based on percentage) and Fixed amount (discount based on fixed amount). 

      1. Tier settings:
        1. Title: You can set the title of the tier there.
        2. Min subtotal: Minimum cart subtotal customers have to buy to receive the discount.
        3. Discount value: You can set the discount amount here.

  1. Display conditions:

            When enabling conditions, you can display the offer only when the conditions are met.


  1. Advanced settings: 

    1. Active dates: You can set the date the offer will start and end there.

    1. Quantity settings: You can set the maximum quantity of the offer products that can be added to cart.

    1. Discount badge settings: Here you can set up the badge for your offer item.

      For Volume Offers:

    1. Allow changing variants of items in each tier: When enabling this feature, you can allow customers to change product variants in the tier


      For Order Goal:

    1. Enable recommendation box: There will be a product recommendation box under the Order Goal and those products are automatically picked by Shopify's recommendation system.

Step 4: Save Settings

Once you've finished all the steps, click on the "Save" button on the top right corner or "Save Offer" button on the bottom right of the page. Your offer is now created!



Once the app is enabled in theme settings, offer popup will be triggered when clicking on the "Add to cart" button on your product page for Product page offer types and "Checkout" button for Cart page offer types.
